Marie Antonnette Sigudson  is a social innovator and entrepreneur from Nairobi, Kenya, dedicated to empowering rural women through sustainable agriculture and digital education. After earning a degree in Environmental Science, she founded GreenSisters Africa, an initiative that trains women farmers to adopt eco-friendly methods and access markets online. Her work has improved food security and boosted the incomes of over 2,000 families across East Africa. Marie believes that when women thrive, communities flourish. She is celebrated for merging tradition with technology, using storytelling and mentorship to inspire the next generation of African women leaders.

Kenya, located in East Africa, is known for its rich cultural diversity, stunning landscapes, and vibrant economy. Home to over 55 million people, it boasts iconic wildlife reserves, the Great Rift Valley, and Mount Kenya. With Nairobi as its capital, Kenya is a regional hub for technology, trade, and tourism, blending tradition with modern innovation.

Marie Antonnette Sigudson empowers rural women through her initiative, GreenSisters Africa, by providing training in sustainable farming, digital literacy, and market access. Her programs help women improve crop yields, embrace eco-friendly practices, and sell produce online. Through mentorship and innovation, she enhances women’s income, confidence, and leadership in building resilient, self-sufficient African communities.

Marie Antonnette Sigudson Women Inclusion strategy focuses on training, access, and collaboration. Through GreenSisters Africa, she has trained over 2,000 rural women in eco-friendly farming and digital marketing. By forming 30 women-led cooperatives, she ensures collective bargaining power, shared resources, and sustained mentorship — bridging the gender gap and driving women’s active participation in agricultural value chains.
